my empirefu....it's not fair...
>>2144949976 months later>And what did they lock you up for, Miss?>I...I called the Emperor a walking scrotal tumor.>Well you're free to call him whatever you like, because the galaxy's been liberated and you're free!
did the emperor get extra psychic force powers from increasingly putting the boot on his citizens?
>do everything you can for the empire>some faggot traitor steals data from your pc>he leaks it>you clicked no shady links>this isnt cybersecurity's fault>it's yours>even tho you had nothing to do with it?
>>214495665lonni sat on that shit for a year and she had no password changes the whole time?
>>214495515I don't know if it's canon anymore but supposedly he did. Darth Bane in the comics/novels needs to heal himself from poison so he murders a bunch of kids in front of their Dad because the man's suffering gives him a boost.
>>214494997
>>214495680did she have to change her password? I think if it was a rule to change pw every few months she would've followed it. blame cybersec for making the rules too lax
>>214495665didn't she initially steal the data
>>214495665the empire killed everyone on Alderaan, including imperial loyalists, because of what ONE Alderaanian didthe empire isn't exactly smart
Why was season 2 so much worse than season 1? Especially the first arc with the wedding and stolen TIE fighter.
>>214495665>sent to the factory mines for eternity for not following the ISB's IT policykek
>>214495774the data that was under her jurisdiction and unlawfully withheld from her?
>>214495798Weren't they trying to compress 5 seasons into one?
>>214495824>unlawfully withheldcall the emperor!
>>214495846doesnt change the fact it was her data to begin with
>>214495798because it was originally conceived as being 5 series long and they only found out that it was getting canned half-way through S1's productionit was canned because some faggot at disney was salty that it was well received
>>214495861according to... ?
>>214495824doesn't matter in a way because the whole thing runs on processes and the various officers having jurisdiction over their shitas she repeatedly warned others- you need to watch your back
>>214495890her the nig and the boomer all agreed upon it but nig and boomer said she wont get access to it because uhhh she doesnt need it ok?
>>214495882>it was canned because some faggot at disney was salty that it was well receivedWait, what? Why?
>>214495910
>>214495904Sorry anon, if there was a black Imperial I legit forgot whoever that character was
>>214495938Filoni is a sperg living the dream, I guess
>>214495941he was in S1 only. the guy was her nemesis within ISB. he also came to oversee the hotel in andors hometown after the imps failed to recover him
>>214495962his contribution to the franchise is Assoka, so make of that what you will
>>214494997Dedra and Syril deserved happiness, the galaxy be damned.
>>214495985George Lucas told him to invent a character for his daughters, then he put that character in a tube top and miniskirt, then when he sold Star Wars Filoni wrapped her up like a nun and made everything revolve around her.
>>214495938so of all the stories to get blocked by filoni, acolyte made it through? or was that snuck past him like andor?
>>214495985the actress who played young Ahsoka in the flashback was honestly better looking that the grown up one
>>214495996Syril being a stubborn retard and disobeying direct orders literally (not figuratively) destroyed the Empire.
>>214496082based the empire was evil
>>214496131All he had to do was sweep the thing under the rug and Andor woudn't have joined the rebels so they wouldn't even have a chance of obtaining the plans or even finding out about them.
>>214496195the Force guided him
>>214495712the funny thing was watching S2 that the whole insurrection thing was a gayop by the empire to create a pretense to seize control of the spider planet
>>214496067Acolyte was Filoni approved slop.
>>214496290lol wow
>>214494997I feel like her downfall is unfair. In part 2 (ep.6) she oversaw some genocide and lost Syril. She caught Luthen (kind of). Okay, she fumbled the arrest by gloating around, but how much additional intel can they get by arresting Luthen alive. If in alternate universe she tried to arrest Luthen, he was armed, a firefight occurred, and her investigation lead the termination of Axis she would've gotten a medal of honor. Then her "mistakes" happened offscreen, and she was busted for a minor reason (illegally accessing other ISB officer file, and having her own file compromised). It is not earned. It is not like the good guys overcome challenges to take her down. It is not her character flaw being the instigator of her downfall. She's simply a level 2boss that has to be taken put so they could move to bigger fish (Partagaz, then Krennic, then Tarkin, then Vader, then Emperor) so she was written out
>>214497285Dont forget Luthen didn't die on her watch.
>>214495775they were the biggest rebel supporters and sympathisers. theres a reason the original plan was for obi wan to take the death star plans there
>>214497378everyone on the planet? even the younglings?
>>214497405those younglings would grow up and continue being rebel supporters
>>214497405not just the men, but the women and the children too
>>214497285>but how much additional intel can they get by arresting Luthen aliveHe knew where Yavin was. He was key member of the Rebellion (sort of) and one session with Vader would be enough to bring the whole thing down> and she was busted for a minor reason (illegally accessing other ISB officer file, and having her own file compromised). The file contained data on Empire's most secret project, which got leaked because of her (not the only leak, but she's ISB)
>>214497419no wonder the empire lost
>>214497285That's just how serious her offense was and why the ISB director decided to off himself rather than try to argue his way out of responsibility. She not only scraped the imperial files, but tied them all together to point out the Death Star- the top-secret project that managed to be kept under wraps for over a decade or whatever. And then on the eve of its unveiling, they learn that information was leaked to the Rebels, who have slowly been becoming bolder and more dangerous. Her ambition and desire to be in-the-know of things above her station eventually causes everything to crash down upon her.
>>214497285>work in a corrupt and evil bureaucracy>"wtf how is this fair?"lmao
>>214497312Yes he did.
>>214497653I mean compare to Syril. His character arc was complete. He was always a true believer in Empire bringing peace. He symphatized with the Ghormans, and saw the massacre. He learned his mistakes, that's why he put his gun down for a split second and at that moment he got shot in the head by the Ghorman pacifist. Absolute kino. Dedra didn't complete any character arc, she just fucked up offscreen because it was written like that.
>>214495665She unwittingly concentrated a huge stack of documentation all pointing right at the death star and didn't change her password for over a year. There's also cosmic karmic reasons for her ending up there but she did fuck up by the empire's standards
