I was pretty meh on the entire thing. The horror was weak, the "mystery" remained a mystery for about 1/3 of the movie and performances was underwhelming all around. I dont know if the ending was supposed to be funny, but it was.I feel like every horror movie that's been praised by critics have been mediocre at best and they're being hyperbolic in their praise of mediocrity to remain relevant. The same with Longlegs, underwhelming, drags on and the ending was fucking retarded. And that other on with the hand that makes you talk with ghosts, was equally as lame.

The story was a bit lame, I liked the characters and performances, especially the junkie/cop. It felt like it was written to just string you along though, some stuff becomes forgotten. The gun in particular was really dumb. Either it's a thematic symbol, in which case it's an extremely blunt and lazy example of one, or it's a red herring, in which case it's an extremely blunt and lazy example of one.
