The last season was really bad, so much potential for a kino finale involving a final confrontation with his mother and a trial where everything he's done is exposed and he can't hide anymore and truly comes to terms with himself but what do we get instead? Mother doesn't appear, isn't even mentioned, has a half-brother that also doesn't appear and he doesn't think about, final redditor gf with a flimsy connection to Beck takes him down with super plot armor = drowned but then teleports behind him and shoots him in the dick. Trial skipped. Oh yeah and Kate survived somehow despite being left in a burning basement. Just awful.
