I was really soured on archeology when I realized 90% of it is about seniority and dogma

The theory that birds evolved from dinosaurs was mocked for almost 150 years because it didnt fit in the dogma at the time. Now it has turned 180 degrees and believing that any dinosaurs could NOT have feathers is openly mocked. Evidence is regularly discredited because someone famous disagrees or because it contradicts the popular opinion, meanwhile popular opinion and experts can claim anything without evidence and it becomes accepted truth.
