That's what they get for not simply naming them Mission Impossible 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on...I (and I bet many others) lost track at the point they started naming them "Something Reckoning" or "Reckoning Something" - by that time I just didn't know if it's a new movie or a movie that I have already seen - they have all merged into one blur of MI movies.

it was a really bad movie, and it was just about Tom Cruise (not Ethan Hawke) doing real stunts and then building a movie around that. Ye, we loved that he was doing it for real, but they jumped the shark. especially the underwater stuff, its really not that great cinematically.

Considering that AI actually is topical, it's absolutely astounding that DUNC deliberately omitted any exposition about why spice is so important. The horrible desert creature was bad enough (Zendaya) but the lack of world-building was even worse.
