Feel season 4 got interesting when the Ex DEA agent Hank figured out that Gale wasnt the man he was searching for distributing the blue meth all because Walt couldn't shut his mouth while drunk and having a ego trip.

Maybe you will enjoy episode 6 but if you didn't enjoy the first 3 episodes then maybe you should just drop it. The first 3 episodes were really good from my memory.

I never understood the criticism of season 1 being so boring. There's a couple of episodes that are kinda slow, but the first three and last two are some of the best in the entire show.

Season 3 is when it really gets boring. First five episodes, pretty much nothing happens. Then you get a couple of good ones before it's more nonsense like Jesse's therapy group, the fly episode and the constant back and forth with Walt not wanting to cook, then suddenly wanting to again. At least the two part finale is kino.

Yeah, therapy group was sorta nonsense but it did open up in Season 4 an event to their consequences. The fly episode was unnecessary though.

I've decided to rewatch the whole show after just finishing BCS for the first time and season 1 was fairly slow. Two episodes are spent on the moral dilemma of Krazy-8 and Emilio, we have the intervention into Walt roaming around without telling everyone he has cancer, you have Walt dealing with the ramifications of the cancer diagnosis for an episode, you have the entire setup of them going to the wedding anniversary and Walt seething so you get some backstory on Walt, and then that leaves you mostly with the intro, Tuco, and the Methlamine warehouse in terms of cooking anything or dealing with the actual meth selling side of things.

With the context of BCS and already having watched BB before it really adds to a lot of the first seasons, this scene in particular, but in terms of a first viewing it can be fairly slow since there is quite a lot of setup in between the first cook and their next one.
