Why did the movie adaption flop?

Too woke

Adaptations are 100% always morally wrong. Media belongs in the format it was originally intended.
>>
>>214510129
Not to be a live action adaption it was meant to be animated

Might as well make a movie of The Hungry Hungry Caterpillar.

Children's bedtime stories like this are written to intentionally be kind of boring to help lul kids to sleep. This kind of story doesn't make for a good movie because the audience wants to stay awake to watch it.

I would not fuck it in a blouse
I would not fuck it here or there
I would not fuck a mouse anywhere

I never saw the movie, but the main boy is an unlikable prick in the book. I can't imagine following his exploits for a feature length movie.
