Despite this, the cultural impact is non-existent. Pray tell, why?

>>214511510What is the cultural impact of 30 MCU movies? What is the cultural impact of other movies that crossed a billion or so?
>>214511530I went to see part 2 three times over a couple months. It was packed every time. I haven't desired to see a movie in theaters since but will be going again in december.
>>214511740Titanic had cultural impact. All of the films that made billions in the box office since hasn't. Culture is dying.
>>214511933No. It's more like social media has consumed and dominated everything in the decades since Titanic. Any big thing that would have been talked about for half a year back in the 90s, is now discussed for 2-3 days then moved on for the next dozen things in line. News barely last a day or two before it's moving on to the next. There's a thousand things to watch. And even when you see its impact, you just deny it anyway.
