I watched Prometheus again the other day. First time I saw it I was one of those viewers who was disappointed it wasn't an alien flick, on rewatch I finally get the prometheus viewers that liked the direction, despite the stupidity of the scientists the sense of wonder, aesthetic, mystery, and questions of humans origins and the nature of the Engineers was beyond more interesting than another alien slasher flick. Genuinely feel robbed of the proper Prometheus 2 sequel.
