For me it's 1999, that's when I first started paying attention to pop culture.

Every morning there's a halo hanging from the corner
Of my girlfriend's four-post bed...

MTV was already falling off around this time with Cribs.

Anyone else find that Steve-o has got that fucking annoying 12 stepper vibe now ? I'm glad he cleaned his shit up, he genuinely seems a lot happier now, but everytime I hear him talk I feel like I'm at an AA meeting.

Shit was so goated, also the fun shows like pimp my ride, next, cribs, the osbournes. All kino.

Yeah his new drug is talking about drugs. He's a faggot.
>>
>>214518449
He's not entirely sober, he still smokes cannabis and does ketamine because lol legal in LA
>>
Why don't white people make music mainstream anymore that isn't cuntry or nigger derivative music?

>nothing else to watch
>this comes on (again)
>wonder why anyone ever goes to prom since it looks kinda gay and everyone's always crapping on it

You have to go back further. MTV was on the decline in the 90s with shit like The Real World and Road Rules.
>>
>>214518449
that's every person who quit thanks to the 12 steps program. have you met any in real life? they can't shut up about it because it's literally what's keeping them away from getting high

Hold on to your butts gamers it's 2015 again

The 2000s were very corporate compared to the early-mid 90s and had the edges sanded off.

Looking back, Matchbox 20 was a pretty good band.

I think this was around the time I started to stop watching MTV, filled with dramas and reality shows at that point.
>>214519323
I was way too young to experience that era of music
>>
>>214518738
euro MTV was still great in the mid-late '90s.
I discovered a lot of incredibly cool bands by watching MTV's late night programs (Alternative Nation, Chillout Zone... even Headbanger's Ball had still some good heavy music)
>>
I still can't believe people tried to claim Nickelback was bad. Talk about a band that stood the test of time.
