You can get used to like 1.3x and not even notice.
I accidentally had a movie on that speed and didn't even realize until it was finished

Never has.

This shit can really change your world of listening to music. Start slowing or speeding up certain songs and you night make something that almost feels original

I only watch youtube except a few times on 2x
It made it possible for me to watch everything I want a day and I still barely have time for TV. That is how crazy youtube inflation is. 42 minute essays about how women wear nose rings, or all the resident evil games ranked. Whatever Asmongold shit out

How can people watch this crap without 2x?

As far as movies I would never do that its too weird movies are about vibes and you can't get vibes on 2x.

Sounds like a you problem. I can immediately when a movie is so much as ripped from a PAL DVD, even though the difference in speed is only 4% faster. It just feels unnatural.
>>

There isn't nearly enough good content on YouTube to watch it by your description
>>
>>214522792
I rewatched most of Deep Space Nine at 1.2x. It actually perked things up a bit and saved me around 10 minutes if life per episode.
>>
>>214522824
Yeah, it's nice that on youtube it keeps a pitch. A lot of other tools change the pitch with the speed.
>>
>>214522765
I suspect that most "long form" youtube "essays" were deliberately slowed down 0.5% by their uploaders to pad the length. Watching them at 1.5 x speed feels like normal.
>>
>>214523082
you don't understand how percentages work lol
>>
Why not just skip to the interesting parts ?
>>
>>214523144
because I don't know the interesting parts before I watch? And it's FAR more likely that the video or a large amount of it isn't worth my time. Even if it is worth it, I can watch a 30 minutes video in 15 minutes and get the required info just fine.

I thought wasting time was the whole point of watching TV
>>
>>214522765
Pretty much the same for me. All youtube videos I watch for the info I watch at 2x. But I'd never watch a movie faster, it seems silly. If you're watching for entertainment and you want to speed it up, you should rather find something more entertaining.

>>214523082
if you ever start paying attention you realize that the slow talkers are just reading wikipedia articles

Get a record player and start pretending you're a DJ. It's really fun.

nah, many movies are padded or unjustifiably slow. I can get the same experience in 1.5 hours and your 3 hour length isn't warranted. Not to mention how fast I can watch a series with all its fluff to get to 40 minutes an episode
