I read a bit of Asimov's Foundation series and then watched some of the show.

What the actual fuck is going on? What does ANY of this bullshit have to do with Asimov's Foundation? It's like if they made a Lord of the Rings movie where Frodo is a strong black woman and when Gandalf tells her about the true nature of Bilbo's ring, she sails West to the land of Narnia to fight Thulsa Doom with Drizzt Do'urden.

About the show? Not a lot. Maybe when Salvor Hardin referred to the Emperor as 'dat sky rulin' mayne' while smacking her lips and sitting on a space porch, that was a solid cinematic moment.
