Which unreleased deleted scenes from the Sopranos do you want to see most? Mine is Dr. Melfi's deleted scene from Made in America.
>>214528291When I saw Tony's dream sequence of Melfi coming out of the shower topless, I understood why people like mature women.
>>214528291Tracee's deleted scene in The Test Dream
>>214528393She was a thoroughbred
>>214528291they rushed melfi's conclusion, probably the messiest part of the final season aside from maybe AJ's arc going too fast in the final episodethey supposedly filmed a take of adriana escaping from silvio to deter onlookers from leaking adriana's death, curious how that looked if camers were rolling. also supposedly made in america had fake scripts that end on different notes to deter more leaks, apparently one ends with the scene of tony raking leaves (right before he visits junior). i'm curious what the actor who played agent harris meant when he said there was just a few more seconds of the member's only jacket man in the finale if he wasn't trying to stir more drama
>>214528427Yeah they messed up Melfi's conclusion so bad. It's even worse considering how important she was to the show.
>>214528450How was it meant to occur?
>>214529039I think originally she was meant to show up in Made in America, where she basically is crying in Elliot's therapy because she felt bad about leaving Tony or something. I assume it was cut because they wanted her decision to leave Tony to be a more triumphant conclusion for her story.
>>214528339No she's ugly
>>214529645Calm down there Elton John
>>214528450thing is, she stopped being that important midway into the show. the whole therapy angle was clearly a remnant of the pilot that became increasingly irrelevant as the show grew into its own. but by then, she was too established to just drop that plot entirely, so they had to ride it out and keep finding ways to force her into the show. there was really no way to resolve that well unfortunately.
>>214528427>>214528450>>214529099No it's to show how she, like everyone else, is a hypocrite who will turn on a dime. She does so in a very wannabe-yubbie way but having the slightest bit of peer pressure applied at a dinner and by reading the latest publishings. She never had a backbone or integrity she just went selfishly with the wind and whims of whatever. Everyone's a hypocrite. Except Janice (at the end).
>>214528291Honestly the Sopranos finale feels full, there's a lot of stuff they got right, and the ending is perfect. I agree about Melfi but everything other than that is basically perfect. Now the Mad Men finale, whatever happened there? It has the perfect ending scene but almost half the scenes feel like it's from The Office. The Peggy, Joan and Stan scenes still make me fucking cringe. "Every "good" person gets what they want <3" is such a fucking cop out.
>>214528291Lorraine offering up her hairy Italian shithole to the guys.
>>214529886Yeah I wished they kept the therapy aspect more relevant throughout the show. It was basically like the main thing in season 1 and then it fades into irrelevance with each passing season.
