I can't decide whether I like this or not. It is written with an obvious anti-feminist angle, but this goes over the heads of most women who watch it who actually identify with this trainwreck. It's not written earnestly and at the same time it doesn't go far enough. If Trier wants to make a "western women bad" movie, which does need to exist, he needs to examine the conditions that allow a person like this to develop.

what was it? she has a boyfriend who wants children, she meets a new guy and gets with him instead, her ex gets sick and she goes to care for him, her new bf loses interest, movie ends with her seeing her second bf having a new gf as she does work.it just seemed as though she didn't know what she wanted and kept meeting men who did. or something like that.
