>>214531276The problem with The Stand (the book, haven't seen the miniseries) is that he sets it up where the protags will need to have some amazing journey to reach the villain but then the journey is only like an eighth of the book and almost nothing happens on it, just one of them falls in a ravine and breaks his leg while the rest of them reach Vegas and then everybody in Vegas dies.
