Been reading the Breaking Bad books that the show is based on, the differences are quite astounding.

>Jesse is killed by Tuco who plays a much larger role in the books.
>Walt Jr becomes addicted to Walt's drugs and dies of drug overdose.
>Gus is actually TWO characters in the books, gay lovers Guero and Ramon, and they are both turned against eachother by Walt in the end.
>Walt becomes addicted to his product to cope and eventually gets caught after killing Hank (Neo-nazis are a show only addition)
>Walt gets killed in Police custody by a random mexican whose son died of overdosing on Walts meth

They are quite fun and worth a read, but I can see why changes were made, the books are also a lot darker.

Happened with Dexter too. Why would Tuco kill Jesse tho? Also is Saul in the book?

In the books they work for Tuco much longer, roughly two seasons work and Tuco's mental decline is more slowburn. Eventually he thinks Jesse is ratting him out, and then shotguns jesse in the face whilst Walt was making a deal with Tuco.

yeah, Saul's in the book and you get more insight into his personal life like what he eats for dinner, what he does at home and his general decadence. He's a lot seedier in the books and actually rapes Francesca in one chapter

The scene where he's looming over the unconscious Jane, admiring her youth and beauty, before snapping himself back to his senses was honestly uncomfortably disturbing.

Fucked up how Jane was 14 years old in the books too. I’m glad they aged her up for tv, not sure audiences would’ve been able to stomach that one ha ha
