except in literally the image attached he was LARPingstop pretending the ending isn't canon Eren was larping as a nazi because of fate he wasn't actually one
>>214537435eldians are an allegory for jews btwthis meme makes no sense
>>214537464They're walled off in a containment zone and demonized by the rest of the world. They're more like Palestinians.
>>214537496Their land was supposed to be Madagascar if jews were sent there
>>214537431If an author says a bunch of true things, then later says several false things and claims that everything he said before was actually not true, you aren't obligated to accept his claims. everything about Attack on Titan besides the last 10 or so chapters corroborates with logic and rationality and shows that Floch and pre-final-reveal Eren were right
>>214537496palestinians, definitionally displaced jordanians are your dime a dozen arab. they come, they destroy, they entertain their base urges. the wall keeps them out
Is this /tv/ related? On one here speak jap.
>>214537537>corroborates with logic and rationalityhow so?
>>214537571Why Posting AoT in /tv/ is a Bad IdeaEven though it might technically fit, doing so goes against the established culture and norms of 4chan, which are often more important than the written rules. Moderation: The /tv/ moderators' job is to keep the board on-topic. While their actions can be unpredictable, they frequently remove threads that belong in a more specific board. An Attack on Titan thread is a prime candidate for deletion because it has a perfectly good home on /a/. User Backlash: The user base of /tv/ is generally there to discuss Western live-action television and films. They did not come to /tv/ to see anime threads. You can expect replies like: "GTFO, weeb." ">>>/a/" "Fuck off back to your containment board." "This is why they call it the zombie apocalypse." (The last one is a common /tv/ meme for low-quality or off-topic posts). The "Containment Board" Principle: A core concept on 4chan is that specific content belongs in its specific "containment board." This keeps /pol/ on /pol/, /a/ on /a/, /v/ on /v/, etc. Posting anime in /tv/ is seen as "leaking" and is frowned upon.
>>214537400Lol, lmao even
>>214537537The last chapter shows that floch was right. Eldia gets nuked and their civilization is destroyed
Did attack on titan jump the shark?
>>214537435When I first read this part I thought Eren was disillusioned. When they killed all the titans and their territory expanded he just hit another wall with enemies on the other side.I thought this was him finally realizing a mundane truth we all take for granted. The truth of how nations work. Every country has borders and foreign enemies. You can't kill all your enemies. All you can do is defend your territory. You have to become comfortable living within your borders, which is exactly what Eren couldn't do.Eren's idea of freedom was horseshit and would never happen. He thought they'd inherit an empty world when they defeated the titans. He was irritated when it turned out to be populated.I thought this was him giving up his dream.Apparently not. He just decided to depopulate the world himself.
>>214537464>conquered the world but then out of suicidal empathy neutered themselves and let the other races regain power>despite trying to separate themselves the other races continue to intrude on their territory>despite literally unlearning racism the other races don’t care and want to genocide them allThe eldians are very explicitly Whites
>>214537464I wish the Eldians were jews because according to the manga eventually the whole world unites to erase their race from the planet.
>>214538121And all of that is beautifully shown in the credits scene where nations again rage war until nothing is left. Nothign is solved. All the fates of the heroes and villains were worthless. Until a new hopeful boy emerges and steps into the rabbit hole. The sheer magnitude of the credits scene is on par with Legend of the Galactic Heroes ending.
>>214537577It would take too long to list and explain every single thing that 25+ volumes of attack on titan depicted that was logical and rational, but here is one important example. Early on in the story depicted in-group preference (which manifests as for example patriotism and nationalism) as good, effective and important. This is true the reason why humans behave with in-group preference and more highly value members of an in-group is because it is a successful strategy. A group is stronger than an individual so if you want to resist a group then you need a group. Also, if there's two populations living in the same society competing for the same jobs and same positions of power and the two populations have the same distribution of ability and one population of people , pop A , behave individualistically and meritocratically with no regard to group membership, while the other population of people, pop B behave with in-group preference and nepotism for members of their group, then despite both populations having the same distribution of ability so same ability on average, population B will come to dominate because population B will give other B-members an advantage on hiring and promotion committees while population A will be fair with both themselves and population B. Thus if you don't act with in-group preference then you leave yourself at a comparative disadvantage to other groups who do act with in group preference. You're letting yourself get taken advantage of like a chump. This is one important example of how most of Attack on Titan besides the last 10 or so chapters is supported by logic and rationality.
>>214537464More like Germans/Palestinians
>>214538121You're unintelligent.
>>214537464No they aren't retard. Paradis represents JapanWork it out.
Well?
>>214538448Hes just buck broken i think
Floch was based and is the only character that wasn't ruined by the ending.
>>214537400>dies a cuckholded failure, with the love of his life happily married and impregnated by another man, and his homeland carpet bombed into oblivion
>>214538554This unironically, but also Erwin

>>214537779I rarely see a writer be so honest. We all think this shit about people and never admit it. When I'm with a girl I want it to feel like me and her against the world even though that's unhealthy as fuck.
>>214537912But Armin got to clap Annie's war crime committing cheeks for a few years, so it's all good.

>>214538837interesting
Finished it recently. Seasons 1-3 were amazing. Season 4 was disappointing no matter how you look at it.
>>214539160season 4 is my favorite all the way through but it peaks at the Marley arc i fuckkkkkkk with those first few episodes
>>214539208well yeah it starts off great but i wasn't a fan of the decisions around Eren in the 2nd half
>>214539302immersion broken, historia is too ugly
>>214538936lol kys redditor/kike
>>214538398I've never seen anything that leads me to believe Isayama is right wing. It would be interesting for sure and make AOT one of the most compelling pieces of rw media in a while, but I don't think it's true. I think the portrayal of cultural uniformity and the one-sided nature of the Eldian vs Titan conflict is there to make the viewer think that same way as the protagonists. Just like them, we're shocked to find out that there are two sides to this war and that the inhuman monsters they've been killing were literally people at one point. Kind of boring, but I think Isayama was going for a typical "war is le bad and both sides should forgive each other" story, although at least he admits at the very end that that idea is unlikely to succeed in the long term.
>>214539160ye i finished it last week. pretty much how i feel. season 4 generally left me scratching my head around the direction of a lot of the characters. i get the feeling the author just wanted it to be fucking over and wrote some ending, crammed in some time travel gobbledygook to explain why the protagonist is a different character and then bolted on some dream sequence conversations to try to patch it all over
>>214537400Go back to /a/
