It never got around people to learn social interactions from.But in that scene, it had to listen to John yapping for presumably hours by that point. So he'd have enough material recorded to be able to mimic him for at least a few sentences.Same as how in Genisys it was a construction worker or in Dark Fate it had a girlfriend who thought his skeletons in the closet amounted to mafia crap.
