Unpopular opinion but I really liked the Ori. I liked anything that showed what dicks the Ancients really were so I liked Anubis in that vein too. Everything had drawbacks. It makes sense that a military expedition exploring alien worlds wants to take and progress that technology. The biggest misstep I think was actually the Lucian Alliance, how they were ever a threat was never believable at the time they were introduced, and that's before we even get to the shitshow that was Universe. The Goauld are classic but were stretched too long, they should have been defeated/broken earlier, then you can get to the Lucian Alliance before Earth gets a lot of their tech/should have learned the lessons from later seasons.

I think it's not so much about which seasons are good or bad, but more about which story premises are good for TV and which aren't. The Ori subplot veering off into a literal fucking DnD session, for example, was not cool.
