I wouldn't accept an iphone if one was given to me as a gift. The only reason I own any sort of dumbphone at all is because I grudgingly accepted the premise that it was an absolute requirement to maintain employment and go about one's daily routine. If I could operate in contemporary society with nothing but a landline telephone hooked up in my place, I would do it. I keep as much of it (apps, permissions and so forth) turned off as is practicable.The thing that is so stupid about dumbphones is that they constantly capture the attention of the people using them, for no good reason at all. And those large numbers of people don't understand that their apps, their stupid friends, none of what they are seeing and interacting with is even interesting in the first place. And to add insult to injury, it is presented to them on a tiny little screen that they constantly have to smudge in order to use at all.

Certain Youtube videos would not play on this, there was constant pausing (for lack of better term) between videos, LTE was limited, screen was tiny and not fit for watching full series, and a bunch of other problems.It was not meant to be a replacement for actual computers or even macs.
