doug was a weird 10/11 year old kid. he was occasionally an asshole, sometimes petty, could be conniving, and he was neurotic as fuck. but in the end he always did the right thing because he didn't want to be inexcusably shit. he was human, and some people, perhaps rightfully so, can't stand the show because they see themselves in him and his faults, whether or not they admit it. some people are simple and not that deep and can't relate to those moments and insecurities and that's fine too, must be nice honestly. i like the show a lot. i hate that nigga jim jinkins tho
