Neil patrick harris was so far out of his depth with this it was embarrassing to watch. He couldn't even play a convincing Olaf, let alone any of the other roles. The acting in the show was generally mediocre, but NPH's attempts felt like something you might see on a particularly bad episode of SNL

+100. Olaf can be goofy, but he's also genuinely menacing at times. NPH couldn't be threatening to literal children despite his best efforts.
