The first one of the new trilogy Jurassic World was decent.The two sequels Fallen Kingdom and Dominion are almost unwatchable. I fell asleep two times during second one and the third one I never even finished, I don't know how it ended and I don't care.And this is coming from someone who watched all the Resident Evil movies. Make of it what you will.

It's the fulfillment of everything the kid in you wanted from the first Jurassic Park movie. It's my favorite of the 7 films, just an inch above JP1.The rest, however, are misses. I feel the hate here is overblown, but I won't die on that hill because there isn't much for the films to defend with.>JW2The first half is decent, but the rest gets bogged down by its villain and setting. The new characters (asian girl, mulatto boy) are so forgettable I actually forgot them until this post, and so did the sequel. The overall moral seems to be "Greed is bad" again, and it's most interesting take is dabbling more on other uses of the genetic cloning tech they've used for the dinos all this time. My take away from seeing it in theaters is that JW2 only existed for its ending, which set up future films.>JW3Only the extended version is worth considering. It's an adventure movie, in a time we are thoroughly starved for adventure movies. I liked it on principle. It's greatest crime is doing Alan Grant dirty, and anyone who hates on it for that point alone is justified. It takes a family angle on things, especially centered around a certain plot point taken from JW2. I liked the intro, seeing dinos in the world and how that's changed the world. I liked the adventure scenes, flying around the world to different cultures in their big chase. I liked the overall moral being a direct finger to Monsanto (big corp creates a genetic plague for crops, while selling to cure to their own plague). Henry Wu get's his own personal story concluded in a satisfying way, as does the main JW cast. It had some fun ideas, lots of great scenes, and somehow I'm the only person on /tv/ who can say they liked it. And because it's so universally hated, I can't really recommend it, because likely you'll hate it too.>RebirthLol. Lmao.

Call me what you will, but I don't have any high expectations for these movies anymore. I don't have any high expectations for ANY movie anymore. That being said, I like seeing CG dinosaurs eat people and considering I'm not paying to watch this shit, I'm fine with it.

Two kids whose parents are getting divorced come to the dino park on Isla Nublar because their older relative runs things there, stuff goes to shit with a dodgy fat guy selling the company out (don’t worry, he gets his when he thinks he can treat a dinosaur like it’s a pet dog), when things do turn and the biggest predator escapes the kids get trapped by it in an upside down vehicle. In the last act the raptors are chasing the two adults (one of them is very work driven and doesn’t like kids) and the two children around the visitors centre. The rex shows up and saves the day. They make it different enough, but it’s in there.Similarly Fallen Kingdom takes notes from The Lost World

People are being crazy. World was so different than Park. The giant dinosaur roaring in the visitors centre was facing the other way. The kids were stuck in a ball, not a car. Uh… other things!
