>”HOWEVER . . . I AM INCREDIBLY FEARFUL OF THE IDEA OF NOT EXISTING AND AM DREADING THE FINALITY OF DEATH! I KNOW I ACT SUPER CONFIDENT AND STUFF BUT THE THOUGHT OF PASSING INTO THE VOID OCCUPIES MY EVERY WAKING MOMENT! I JUST WANT SOME REASSURANCE THAT THERE MAY BE A SLIGHT CHANCE THAT LIFE IS APART OF SOMETHING GREATER THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS! YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE AND LIFE WILL FLASH BY YOUR EYES IN AN INSTANT! ALSO HARRY DID YOU PUT SOMETHING IN A CUP OR WHATEVER I GUESS IN THE BOOK IT SAYS THAT I SAY THE LINE CALMLY BUT RICHARD HARRIS ABSOLUTELY BELTS IT OUT IN THE FILM!”
it was Michael Gambon retardRichard Harris was the good Dumbledore

Don't be too afraid anon. Religion is subconsciously sought in the human mind because the one consciousness that makes up our 3D projection world from the cosmic information string put it there to comfort us. It had to give us death to create meaning in it's own dream of 'you', but to not be too cruel about it, it also gave us coping mechanisms. Every sign you think you see is really something higher trying to commune with you, and when you die you'll actually be folded back into the one true being until it dreams up something new for you.
WHO CONJURED THE 45 MEGATON NEUTRON BOMB THAT WAS LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DINING HALL LAST NIGHT
>>214611972that sounds pretty tight ngl
>>214611972ok what if i'm too intelligent to believe in religion? like i try really hard but sometimes i wish i were an extreme fundamentalist who simply accepts whatever their parents or some dude with a beard told them as a child and never ever questions it>if you were really smart you'd believe in god :)oh great i'm too smart to have blind faith and too dumb to grasp the divine through intellect
>>214613490permanent terminal midwitvery sad
>>214613514yeah that was the point
>>214613490you'll still get folded back up at the end whether or not you accept the comfort of faith

>>214613643uuuhhhhh i'd like one lifetime of comfort minus 10 minutes of dread with extra sauce and to go please thanks
>>214613490>ok what if i'm too intelligent to believe in religion?some of the greatest thinkers in western canon were Christians of unwavering belief. The Sunday school drivel is for little children and the vast retarded majority of the population. You need to look harder.
>>214610929And Gambon was GREAT Dumbledore.
>>214613860All of them. There is not a single great thinker who didn't believe in some form of higher power, and the overwhelming majority of them was monotheistic, and of those the majority was christian.
>>214613860you almost managed to finish reading my post. but thanks for the encouragement retard-chan

Rewatched Half-Blood Prince last night at the theater for the first time since it released. Enjoyed it quite a lot considering I thought it was boring before. Seems like a tonal step back after Phoenix though. Like that whole students' militia thing, no one does that anymore? Neville was inches away from the woman who killed his parents and now he just does nothing and now back to being a joke character for 1 scene? Feels like the Dumbledore's Army concept should've maybe come later. And trying to recontextualize previous character moments given new revelations is such a headache at this point.
>>214610836it sucks man
>>214610836That is literally Voldemort's entire character, not Dumbledore's.
