Does this provide good entertainment, or is it just like real F1 where only the start and the first two laps are interesting and then it's sleep inducing?

Unpopular opinion:

This movie was a shittier version of Top Gun Maverick, much like that NASCAR Cruise film. It has the same exact structure, but idk why but the F1 races aren't as breathtaking.

The first race at NASCAR was exhilarating with the firework spectacle, then the rest of the races were not so good. It's sort of a boomer, sloppier Top Gun Maverick, and I wish Pitt was just on monster trucks or NASCAR racing, F1 just seems much more dry and repetitive.

The races themselves are dumbed down and not the best parts of the movie. Basic race strategies are treated like 1000 IQ plays that nobody else saw coming. I still really enjoy this kino.

It's alright entertainment. They mainly show parts of the race where they do something.
Rush was better formula movie though. I don't think I've seen others

I hated Rush but I don't remember why. Even though it has a much cooler true story I didn't like it. It might have been a runtime thing despite it being much shorter than F1 it dragged for me.
Meanwhile I've seen F1 3 times.

There's a totally-not-Rush racing movie called Audi v. Lancia that is marginally better than Rush but I still did not like. Gran Turismo 2023 I did like, however.

apple produced the movie, apple is trying to get the rights for f1 on apple tv so it's effectively a giant commercial for f1 that apple paid for
the nascar audience isn't who apple chases
