Take cues from that last Rambo movie. Freddy is back, and some kids start taking meth to stay awake and be safe from him. Freddy kills and makes it look like the meth kids did it, so they flee to like Arizona or somewhere where a cartel is active and they can get more meth. But the meth also creates a semi dream state, so Freddy is able to follow them. The big ending is Freddy coming out into the real world and has a 30 on 1 fight against raging drugged out cartel guys with military level guns, and he massacres them like Rambo did in his underground cave, but of course Freddy has powers, so some of the deaths are unique.
Do zoomers even dream? They seem braindead.

The rest of your story is okay, though.My own idea for a Freddy film is that he changes his tactics. Instead of killing, he approaches vulnerable, isolated teens in their dreams as a mentor and a surrogate father figure, offering them consolation and guidance in their lives, but also planting dark ideas and gradually pushing them toward evil. He might disguise his true appearance to seem more trustworthy. Once he has them fully under his influence, he sends them out to commit gruesome murders. In the end, the parents of Springwood are so disgusted and outraged that they get together to burn these youths in the same way they once burned Freddy, which, of course, is exactly what Freddy wanted to happen.

a group of teens try out astral projection only to end up transported to hell where Freddy begins hunting them to prove himself worthy of the dream demons, his own personal hell is full of callbacks and victims like Johnny Depp and even Jason plus an Ash Easter egg
my ideas are too meta to be good, desu. the new nightmare canon is that he's some demon that latched onto freddy due to his popularity. so my movie would be about freddy, as his own non-demonic fictional character, upset that nowadays the demon has latched onto another supernatural slasher that's more popular with the kids. if i can get the rights, it'd be art the clown. if not, an amalgamation of the babadook and the smile creature. so freddy starts haunting the dreams of kids hoping they'll write about him and bring his franchise back so the demon will find him more appealing again
