Today I learned that almost all my favourite kinographies are book adaptations.
does it include das boot
>>214663966I have not seen Das Boot yet, sir.
>>214663901Books are always the superior format.
>>214663990No they're not.
>>214663901Whatever onion head
>>214663966That would be a boot adaption
>>214663901but books are the gay and that makes you gay do better
>>214663990Yes, I tend to like the movies they make in my head better than the official adaptations.Exceptions:Goodfellas > WiseguysThe Shawshank Redemption > Rita Hayworth & The Shawshank Redemption
>>214663990>Jaws>Godfather >LotR>Forrest Gump>Shawnshank Redemption >Jurassic Park I'm stopping at this point because it's more than enough to put you in your place but I invite others to add to the list.
>>214664204>No country for old men>Die Hard>Casino Royale>American Psycho>Fight Club
I wouldn't expect Americans to be able to read and appreciate books.
>>214663901well yeah, books are generally like a story tryout. The hardest part is getting a good story with likeable characters. If everyone likes the story on paper, then it's worthwhile to put in the movie, time and effort to add visuals. You can very see how apparent it is right now when they skimp on good writing and just throw a bunch of visual stuff on screen. It results in years of terrible television.
