Damn, am I retarded?I actually liked that Luke Skywalker got blasted in the face with an M16 at the end. So many mainstream movies do that “no, we can’t kill our enemy and must show mercy even though they’d just as easily kill us” bullshit and I was expecting that kind of ending again here; especially after the android from Romulus gave that little speech about why the protagonist shouldn’t seek revenge. I was fully expecting the “le revenge bad” ending but instead got the opposite. I liked the ending.(But maybe I also like it because I hate Mark Hamill so it’s nice to see him get domed at the end.)
