A few years ago I wrote an unhinged, probably schizo-tier essay for myself, which wasn't particularly good in retrospect, on how the Matrix films are a Satanic psyop. The idea of Satan having goat feet got taken from the Greek god Pan, who was basically a god of secret partying - who became taboo and no-no under Roman Catholicism. The god Saturn was sort of a stern Roman god of death and slaves who in some ways became associated with Satan because he was a death god, but Saturnalia, (which took place at the end of december) was a holiday in which Roman citizens gave their well behaved slaves gifts. So Satan and Santa Claus have the same origin.Then you had stuff like Dante's Inferno, Fauste, etc. solidifying the strange image of christianity's enemy. Basically the concept is incoherent
