Its bad because when you think about it nothing got resolved since episode one and the plot moved nowhere. Every episode foreshadowing things was a nothingburger. They had only vague ideas, not even enough spine to enforce them, they were like 'lets keep it vague and we will come up with something by s2'.
I knew the runtime wasnt enough to give closure so I hoped for atleast full chaos and eye kino. then


NOTHING HAPPENED.

Ok, xenos are domesticated and the corporations are the real enemy, fine, could be done extremely well but all we got is a few scenes of comically evil rich people instead of distopian futuristic no human rights horror kino (but that would require actual writing).
Just for a moment imagine how much cooler it would have been, if genius bitch used wendy and the xeno to wage war against the other company. Goods exchange, asian ceo bitch gets the xeno, wendy commando team is near, and they release the xeno on the unsuspecting enemy. It leaves the xenos with dignity, its cool, and we get used to the wierd idea of 'I guess wendy/they can control xenos now'. Later wendy and rich bitch has a fallout and we reach to the finale.

move on to THE EYE:
Build up as the real monster of the show, and I was here for it, and then they fumble the only decent thing. It couldnt overpower the weak skinny dude. It got outsmarted. It got beaten. It looked slimy, weak and pathetic. Done zero damage and got stripped of all mysticism and its power that was built trough 7 episodes.
