alright i'm going to fix this show
>two storylines, can be told interchangeably or one after the other
>first storyline is the entire story of the maginot crew, from them leaving earth to the crash
>show them travelling to a bunch of exotic planets to pick up specimens
>actually SHOW how they lost people getting these specimens, instead of mentioning it once and shrugging it off
>the rest of the flashback episode can stay pretty much the same, just make the crew less incompetent and more like the nostromo crew, professionals that are put into a situation that is way out of their depth
>second storyline is hermit and his squad fighting to contain the alien(s) after the crash
>keep the setting INSIDE THE CITY or at least the apartment complex instead of an isolated island to maximize the risk of the creatures escaping
>make the squad larger instead of like five people, several dozen getting picked off per episode
>hermit is a declared pacifist iirc so it would be interesting to see how he would take on a xenomorph one on one
both of these storylines should be faithful homages to the first two films respectively. the synths are completely unnecessary and should have been left in the failed OC scifi script they came from.

It was honestly the worst inclusion in the Alien franchise that I've ever seen.
Yeah yeah I get that the crew and the people in general are usually kidna dumb in the franchise, but the series took it to a whole new level, every character was infuriating to watch, they kept doing retarded things over and over again.
All the characters were stupid
all the characters were annoying
the 'maximum security' lab was a joke
the soldiers were all a joke
the robot kids were extremely annoying throughout the whole series
it completely abuses of the audience's suspension of disbelief

I give it like a 3/10, and that's only because I somewhat enjoyed some of the alien creatures designs. I hope this crap never gets a second season.

this show was like mid tier so far in terms of the quality you would expect from the alien literature. My initial impression on the first few episodes was that it was a comic book sotry brought to life.

The only reason its not the worst season ending i have seen is that i watched game of thrones.
