Sorcerers Stone is the best kids movie because it's colorful, fun, mysterious, and has a complete hero's cycle. I really wish they kept the same color and brightness in later movies. You could still have some dark scenes for contrast... Maybe something was lost when the first few movies were filmed on actual film and not digital. Though GPT says most of them were until Deathly Hollows. Probably why DH left a bad taste in my mouth. They're just ugly as hell.
