Just finished the series, and overall it was really good imo. One thing that always fucked with me though is when Don say shit like "there are people who think monkeys can do this work" and act like he's carving a Greek bust out of solid marble or something... Then when we get to the pitch he would just say a bunch of nonsense and the client would cum in their fucking pants... The only actual good pitches were The Carousel, which was amazing honestly, and Hershey which wasn't even a real pitch and got him put on administrative leave kek. Basically, what did you all think of the actual advertising in the show? Ps: The Coke ad is garbage, I dont care if its real. Some Jewish "diversity is our strength" bullshit.
>>214838301Advertising actually used to be an art. It was used to inspire, provoke, entice and ultimately motivate people. Now it’s become slop churned out by girlies to take money from the glop masses.I liked jaguar.
>>214838301Agree 100% for me the worst part of the show was pretending that they were doing anything profound or even clever with their little marketing schemes … like maybe they were in real life idk but the show definitely failed to get that across
>>214838301Marketing and communication are the ultimate psyops. These are entire businesses where people make millions inspite of producing nothing of value whatsoever. They exist mainly so the much-less-talented sidepiece whores of actually productive people can pretend to have a job. The only thing more pathetic than working in these industries is to be gullible enough to pay their wages.
>>214838447Dude totally. When Don and Ted met in the bar the night before Chevy in Detroit and they got each other to do there pitches I remember Ted's in particular was so bad it was unbelievable.. Something about "hit the road, Jack!" I almost lol'd while watching.
>>214838380Edward bernays was using propaganda to influence americans and believed that it should be used to direct the nation. The 4th psyop group is doing that with their recruitment ads as well.
>>214838301>"there are people who think monkeys can do this work"Most normies think this about whatever they do. That zoomer troon fucking up your print order at staples thinks this.
this is a show written entirely by feminist womenshould have been obvious on the first episode. you are retarded
>Let me go on a long, purple prose dialogue about how it's so much more than "sex sells"meanwhile in real life it was just >buy product, get pussy
>>214839654pic related is the job you're talking about, btw
