aliens feels like a natural extension of alien. the sequels after that not so much. The dark horse comics are gold and resurrection kind of lazily adapts that feeling. the franchise has been on life support since then.>who can save this and squeeze more dollars out?i feel like all the good stories were already told.

>>214842576In 1 nothing happens, 2 is essentially a Joss Whedon movie. 3 is kino and absolutely what 1 should have been, just Ripley struggling to survive against the Alien and the company. And 4 was literally a Joss Whedon movie that I couldn't even finish. Prometheus had coal burning propaganda without even any excuse as to why they're fucking, so obviously I didn't finish that one. And I gave up there.
