It has potential to be good if they set out to do something new with it. That's the idiotic thing about all these reboots, you watch season 1 of a show, and then you watch season 5 and they're nothing like each other, then a reboot comes along and it tries to emulate the old seasons instead of just being a new season.

I listened to the podcast Faison and Braff ran during covid since this was one of my favorite shows as a teenager. The podcast was all right, they had a lot of insight into the production since their guests included other actors, the showrunner, etc.I remember rewatching the first few seasons around then too and even through nostalgia I didn't like it much anymore. I'm sure the reboot will be all right but I wonder how many other people whose humor has changed a lot in 20 years won't like it anymore.
