Write a story with some actual stakes.Saiyan and Namek Saga were the best because there were believable stakes at that point in the series. When the Z fighters lined up to fight Vegeta and Nappa to protect Earth any of them could have died. Almost all of them did. In Namek there were a bunch of factions all trying to out-maneuver each other and shit actually happened. Even Vegeta got killed in the end, despite being a pivotal player the entire arc.Super is just "we line up and fight and the universe is on the line, or whatever, but nothing happens and nothing matters. We all know that not a single good guy is in danger or will have any lasting consequences from the entire story (other than getting a new hair color). The world has become completely static. Characters changed throughout dragonball and Z. No one changes in this shit. It's a status quo fanservice show for mexicans.

They are good for a burst of DB dopamine but are both pretty mindless otherwise. Legends has real gameplay technically, visually similar to the console games, but ultimately both are brainless gachaSquadra is a new MOBA that just launched so it doesn't have a ton of content, but it's much more of a real game and has actual strategy and stakes between matches.
You just can’t. Dragon Ball became stagnant the moment Toriyama decided that Goku was to still be the protagonist after Cell saga. That decision time froze the franchise because no character could progress beyond their current roles, which made Gohan weak and goten and trunks eternal children.If he had let Gohan take over that would have given life to the series, because then the Goten and Trunks duo would have become adults and new stories would come out of that. Also Piccollo and Vegeta may have had some arcs for their new roles as either mentors or sacrificing themselves at some point
