If any health care should be sacred and guaranteed unless you're mega rich it's reproductive. Course if we wanted an abortion they probably tip us

The US already spends the most per patient in the world and has endless welfare programs for all kinds of poor that basically give you free healthcare. The issue is that we have 200 million morbidly obese people, cancer rates are surging because of all our microplastics, over-chemicaled, and processed foods, as well as a massive population of migrants that overburden the system as well. And because of the competency crisis and DEI policies there are fewer and fewer healthcare professionals available as the number of sick skyrockets, and of those available professionals they're less qualified than they used to be.It's the not 1950s anymore where you had 9 doctor for every 1,000 people (vs. about 3 today) and chronic conditions/cancers were rare. This is also the case in UK/Canada btw and why the healthcare systems there are collapsing with alarming speed fyi.

He kind of fucked over the conversation on healthcare because he focused so much on people with preexisting conditions getting denied by insurance companies, probably because it was so obviously indefensible even to private healthcare's biggest shills, but as a result of that the entire ACA got written around making private health insurers cover people with preexisting conditions instead of a public option or better yet,a nationalized system.
