Target audience (those who liked the originals) doesn't watch this anymore because they are over it and don't want to spoil their memories. Also the concept although original and captivating at the time is no longer so, and fails to capture new audiences. Also nigversity casting

Every other episode was about gay aliens. And the same gay aliens, so it's not like they found a new planet and everyone there was gay too. It's just the same gay aliens over and over again.

It was a time when Seth thought he can do anything: Family Guy, American Dad, Ted, Orville. And while Family Guy was still popular, Ted and American Dad were kinda mediocre and Orville was kinda shit. Still not shit as the Cleveland show though
