Serious question: is movie making turning into a lost art?
>>214869810I think so. A lot of streaming service movies look like comic book pannels in sequence. I'm not talking about capeshit movies. I'm talking about the lower end movies. It's like you're looking at a shitty nineties movie where you've got a shitty script, a shitty director and actors trying to act like humans. The dialogue is shitty. There's something surreal about it.It also made me realize how much of a role the director plays in making the actor and the dialogue come out good. The editor too. Even big screen names fall flat on their face because of how shittily it is filmed.
>>214869810Yes, even when you take out the horrible political sewage the production of most movies is much worse than it was 30 years ago.
>>214869810Yes and slop like the matrix is a proof of that
testest
>>214870001No it isn't. If anything I'd say they are Swan Songs of the old system. At least it was tailored slop.
>>214869810cinema as we know it belongs to the 20th century1996-2007 was the closure and exit of it
>>214869892Im from the third world and ive notice this, is surreal because is something that you would expect from my country but now is worldwide, i wonder if technology has had that effect on quality standarts or mentality

>>214869810Gen X is the last generation of creators. There's nothing after them. Millennials and zoomers haven't created anything new.>haven’t created any musical styles >no great millennial or zoomer auteurs, authors, anything
