The point I’m making is that in YYH with Yusuke in particular he doesn’t find a solution to overcome the biggest obstacles, he just jobs and whines and then the big bad either hurts his friends or gf and suddenly he gets a power surge and wins. This is why HxH is objectively superior, because the characters actually do figure out ways to overcome their obstacles instead of just getting an angry friendship power boost.

All the smaller fights have more satisfying detail, but against the main bosses Yusuke usually does find "the power within" but that's because the main fights are coded as symbols of his maturation.

The chapter where Kuwabara has to avoid fighting and pass a test in order to save his friend's part time job is the most important moment in the series and is the cornerstone that serves as the entire emotional heart of the rest of the story. The Netflix adaptation not including it is the only evidence one needs to see that they fundamentally did not understand why the show was good.I will not elaborate.
