I read a lot of Alien comics and honestly? In many ways it feels about on par with them. This show is so weird. A lot of elements of the plot are basically retarded. The flashback episode was pointless, or should have just been the first episode. A few things make no sense. However, I don't hate it. I think they really nailed the aesthetic and it has good visual direction. I really liked the fade transitions. The set design and costume design was really good. It's rare that a TV show is visually good but most other things are bad. That's more of a movie thing. I'll watch season 2 even though I recognize that this show isn't exactly "good" per se
