>>214893921he owes paul skallas royalties. he stole his mojo. lindy does not belong to lindybeige
>>214893921yesthe soundtrack is excellent too, could stand on its own
>>214893921Don't know, it's been years since I watched and knowing the plot takes away much of the experience. I really enjoyed when I watched for the first time and that was way before anyone "claimed" the movie in any way, their commentary on society was basically shallow rants from damaged people, so it was just a very weird thriller about some weird guys going insane over their schizo shit, and it was kino.
>>214893921Yes, absolutely. It isn't a replacement for a personality, however.
Why does he hate the French so goddamn much?
Where's the hannibal comic lindy
>>214894454every reasonable free man does
>>214893921yes. the cinematography, editing, soundtrack and sound design, costuming etc are incredible. the plot is a bit meh macho crap, you can see it was imagined by a guy who's slightly insecure about his manhood but it's pretty easy to ignore
>>214893978he's just old and doing whatever stupid shit he wants to, as opposed to needing to do xyz video for the patreon.
>>214894533>you can see it was imagined by a guy who's slightly insecure about his manhoodBook was written by a gay guy after being beaten by some kids in a camping trip>Palahniuk once had an altercation while camping[7] and, though he returned to work bruised and swollen, his co-workers avoided asking him what had happened on the camping trip. Their reluctance to know what happened in his private life inspired him to write Fight Club. Also the script was adapted by the same guy who wrote Jumper. While the book covers a lot of themes and goes much further into the whole cult insanity, some says the movie is actually about the main guy feminine side (Marla) and his male side (Durden) fighting for control, some go even further saying that, just like Durden, Marla never interacts with other people and that she doesn't exist outside the Narrator's mind.I don't know, for me it's about a guy who lost his way in modern society and resorts to violence to have a sense of community and the feeling of being alive because true relantionships and love are much harder to achieve.
