>an equal amount of blueberries in each muffin
>>
Do you know how long that is going to take?
>>
Muffins will never be the same. After the Tangiers, the big corporations took it all over. Today it looks like Entemann’s. And while the kids eat cardboard muffins, Mommy and Daddy drop the house payments and Junior's college money on coffee cake. In the old days, bakers knew your name, what you ordered, how many blueberries you wanted in your muffin. Today, it's like checking into a Dunkin Donuts. And if you order muffins, you're lucky if you get an equal number of blueberries in each one. Today, it's all gone. You get a whale show up with an order for a dozen blueberry muffins, and some 25-year-old hotel kid is gonna want his loyalty card. After the baker’s union got knocked out of the box, Betty Crocker tore down practically every one of the old bakeries. And where did the money come from to build all the industrial commissaries? Junk bonds. But in the end, I wound up right back where I started. I could still pick blueberries, and I could still put an equal number in every muffin. And why mess up a good thing? And that's that.

I want an equal amount of dubs in each thread.
>>
>>214952943
He was kinda right though, that was shit quality control.
>>
>>214952970
Couldn't he just use a measuring cup?
>>
>>214952943
how mom took too many tylanol

???

A casino resort in Vegas isn’t making individual blueberry muffins. They’re making batches of several dozen at a time, which means making a giant ball of dough. Measurement isn’t the issue, it’s ensuring an even distribution of blueberries throughout the dough, which isn’t possible when you’re working with a dough ball that weighs 30 lbs. You can mix all you want but those blueberries will never become perfectly equidistant from each other.

muffins are made with batter you idiot. you mix up the batter, pour it into the tins and then sprinkle an equal number of blueberries into each hole. easy and done.

good morning
>>
>>214954485
>muffin
>dough
>>
>>214953229
Good one
>>
>portion out batter into pans as you normally would
>add blueberries and mix into each portion
it would take slightly more time. obviously counting each blueberry would suck but using a measuring cup would would fine
>>
>>214952970
Do it by weight, not by counting out individual berries. Work smarter, not retarded.
>>
>>21495448
>Muffins are made from dough
Go sit on your dragon dildo faggot.
>>
>>214954715
Or get a dispenser that does a fixed measure
>>
>>214954683
Holy shit 4chan is retarded. You just put them in and let the industrial mixer distribute evenly.
>>
>>214954744
>industrial mixer
What's that?
>>
If you take it literally, the EXACT same number of blueberries, put them in berry by berry, yeah, that takes way too long, but a measuring cup gets you approximately the same amount and weight. That should satisfy Sam, especially when you consider the ridiculous discrepancy that upset him so much in the first place.

>>214954876
It's when the ceos of various industries get together and discuss their businesses, usually with drinks
>>
>>214952943
You would be better off just adding extra blueberries to the mix.
>>
>>214954485
Why do people that have absolutely no idea what they're talking about insist on submitting an opinion? What do they gain from it? Do they think anyone benefits from their ill-informed opinion?

If the characters were reasonable the conversation would go like this.
>Oh, yes, I see that this is a problem. These muffins shouldn't be so different from each other. What we can do is mix the batch more thoroughly to ensure a more even distribution of blueberries. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
>Good. That sounds like it will satisfy my requirements. I don't need it to be perfect. I just need it to be good.
>>
>>214954744
did you watch the scene? the dude was legit ready to count the blueberries in every muffin he got. even the industrial mixer wouldn't have that accuracy
>>
>>214952943
It really wouldn't take that long, the chef is just a weird faggot. And if it takes a long time who cares? Your boss is the one who ordered you to do it. The fastest way to convince someone they are wrong is to do exactly as they say.
>>
I love moist muffins so much bros.
>>
>>214955504
how would that convince anyone that they're wrong? wouldn't you just be convincing them that they were right?
>>
>>214955504
In my experience it goes like this.
>boss orders you to do something stupid
>you try to explain that its stupid, but he won't budge
>you reluctantly do it
>it goes wrong as expected
>boss blames you for things going wrong
>try to explain that it was the boss' fault
>he gets even angrier

This is why you should always keep records of this shit.
And never let your boss badger you into agreeing with something stupid. That's their way of making you take the blame.
Here's a fun video on the subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67QsrpNH96Q

In prison, breakfast was always a big thing. We had a cup of coffee and then we had a muffin or scone. Paulie did the prep work. He was doing a year for contempt, and he had this wonderful system for doing the blueberry muffins. He used a jeweler’s loupe and tweezers, and he used to count them out individually so he’d get an equal amount of blueberries in every muffin. It was a very good system.
