>now that i'm about to die i can just throw this away and my kids and grandkids can wage slave for the rest of their lives
>>214955769Drop it, Miss Dewitt! It will be found. (you) won't! hahaha
>>214955769>If I throw this priceless artifact into the sea it will redeem my soul for letting that kid I had a one night stand with 120 years ago die for no reasonName a more accurate depiction of a woman
>>214955769that's just the average boomer>yeah I know I grew up in a 90% white society, but you're gonna have to grow up in a 40% white society, sucks to suck!
>>214955769>muh kids must earn me money for 'reasons'
>>214955769>>214955877>>214955919Movies are not documentaries. Her children don't exist after the movie ends.
>>214956300You were one those kids?>actually teacher, the book is just words so nothing is happening outside what is printed
>>214956300fiction reflects reality
>>214955769i didn't watch the movie. was it stated or shown in the movie that she married and had kids?
>jack gets her into a lifeboat and can now focus on keeping himself alive >She fucking jumps back onto the ship to continue burdening him>He dies trying to keep her aliveI guarantee this dumb bitch never in her life thought twice about whether that decision was the wrong choice
>>214955769>her heaven/afterlife is with jack and the people on the titanic>a boy and strangers she met on a ship and known for only a few days is more important than her husband and children who spent a lifetime with
>>214956441>a boy and strangers she met on a ship and known for only a few days is more important than her husband and children who spent a lifetime withthis is a realistic depiction of a woman

>>214956461usually i roll my eyes when i read misogynistic posts but in this case i have to agree that it's romance idiocy like this that teen girls and grown women pay to read and watch.
>>214956563>usually i roll my eyes when i read misogynistic postsshe's not gonna see this bro
>>214955769Wouldn't it be relatively easy to find it if she dropped it? All they have to do is go straight down and surely they have their location/co-ordinates on record somewhere.
>>214956342>>214956359The movie would have been better woth a scene of her selling the diamond and investing the proceeds into the market or real estate.
>>214956672>Wouldn't it be relatively easy to find it if she dropped it? It took half a century to find the fucking Titanic, a gigantic boat>All they have to do is go straight down and surely they have their location/co-ordinates on record somewhere. The ocean is huge and dark and ocean currents exist, you are retarded
>>214955769She did just fine without ever cashing in on the diamond. So will her kids. Stop looking for a free ride
>>214956746Agreed. She married another filthy rich society figure, and her kids were all insufferable trust fund babies.
>>214955769This kind of decision making tracks with her character thoughbeit.
>>214956300So by what merit should you judge her actions, entirely through reactions of other characters?
>>214956300yeah they exist in that moment
>>214956744>The ocean is huge and darkThen go when it's daytime you fucking nonce
>>214955769The alternate ending where the fat guy calls her a stupid selfish bitch and all the crew scrambles to get into diving gear to save the historical jewel while Bill paxton laughs was the better ending
>>214955769They're already wealthy. She didn't just magically stop being an aristocrat once the ship sank.
My favorite part is the little "oh" she makes like she knows what she's doing is insane, possibly even evil and is surprised at herself for doing it but then that turns into pride like "haha I did that go me". It's actually hilarious. She knows what she did was wrong and she enjoyed doing it. That was her final action in life.
