Compare it with the Rings of Power, hugely expensive and boastfully advertised, intended to place the jewel in Amazon's crown but instead leaving a shit trail up the back of its T-shirt, disappointing both Amazon and the audience by being a boring, bloated, plodding, tonally erratic mystery box emporium whose mysteries no one cares about, and having no likeable characters to ease the pain. You could also compare Fallout with Picard, another high-profile Amazon show with writing that went all over the place and struggled to choose an identity or even a story in its first season. Fallout is clearly better than both.
