I work at HHN and it fucking sucks. The event is terrible, don’t come. We have been reusing the same shitty assets for decades now and the scare actors are getting lazier and more jaded each year. It’s been steamrolling since 2020. Working the event is hell, most of the employees work 10-12 hour shifts 5 days a week and the managers are all super autistic weirdos. One of my first interactions with a team lead was him freaking out about how he “fucked up” on discord and needs to delete it and how he’s scared for his life.

I don't get it. I saw the first one when it came out and didn't like it. It was like the low budget straight to DVD horror movies Blockbuster carried in the late 2000s right before they closed. I was reminded of Chrome Skull and all that stuff. The other thing about Terrifier is it felt mean spirited and very nasty like late 70s-early 80s exploitation films often did. I couldn't believe normies were enjoying that kind of horror movie that only a few decades before were only watched and celebrated by creeps and sleazoid horror fans. I find it disturbing that current day normie horror fans like the extreme gore and sleaze of the Terrifier movies. This kind of movie only used to be liked by weirdos who watched Hong Kong Cat. 3 films and the like.

If I had to make a list of the most memorable horror antagonists/monsters from big horror hits from the 10s it would be something like: Pennywise (already an icon), Anabelle (a fucking doll), the monk from the conjuring, the monters from a quiet place?, the cloud from nope, the babadook, etc. I guess horror movies aren't trying to make new icons nowdays.
