Why is this movie so good? I've watched it 7 times this year.

It's charming and the cast is likeable. Both are a modern rarity.

ITS SO FUNNY HAHAHAHAHA
>>
Its a perfectly well-meaning heist comedy full of in-jokes that only DnD-nerds would understand while entertaining enough for normies. Its not pure enough to become a classic like Princess Bride or something, but it will be fondly remembered for years to come.
>>
>>214962554
It's a fun romp for the whole family.
>>
I remember seeing this one in theaters. When the end credits played I just felt warm and fuzzy inside. It was sweet.
I also remember talking to some light skinned Indian woman and her white husband who were playing the Wild Beyond the Witchlight module which I was also playing at the time. The theater had quite a few cute girls who played DnD. Not long after I got a DnD gf from other sources. It jsut sucks because I know none of them would ever tolerate my racism. Every racist girl thinks DnD is gay.

Yeah it's amazing how everything else was so gay that this ended up basically the best movie of 2023
>>
>>214962554
It's a decent movie 7/10
I remember in 2008 we had dozens of those every year. Now it's rare to have one per year.

Sex with dryads and fauns and doe girls and all other forest women

My autism is annoyed by how limitless her wildshape is, but I assume nobody else gives a shit. Liked the movie though
>>
>>214962554
I wanted more of a grimdark dnd flick instead of jokey jokey
>>
>>214962614
It's woke trash and isn't the DnD universe.
>>
absolutely terrible costumes in this.
>>
>>214962554
woke fantasy capeshit
it flopped for a reason
>>
I try to finish every movie I watch but this movie was so insipid I just couldn't. Only the Borderlands movie made me quit faster.

>I try to finish every movie I watch
Why punish yourself? I drop something the second it loses me. I might slog through something old that's built a reputation of being "well-respected" but I straight drop new releases when it loses me or throws some (((current year))) niggerfaggottranny propaganda at me. I just have no time for shit that is not engaging to me.

It's aggressively unfunny and thoroughly pozzed - as anyone who's not some gay Redditor would agree - and that bint doesn't even show up for nearly 30 minutes (and when she does it's as some ghastly CGI girlboss monster). And you can keep creating these threads, but nothing's going to change that.

I liked it. Although I still wish for a Shadow over Mystara movie, it had enough references to make it fun.
>>
>>214966449
I did yesterday and will again later, but that's by the by. Only someone who enjoys watching a white(-presenting) man being repeatedly humiliated/outdone by women and nogs - with the "action" punctuated by shit millennial "humour" - could enjoy (or pretend to enjoy) this shit, and that's a gay Redditor type.
>>214966529
Can you provide an example of one funny line or moment? Genuinely curious to see what you'd pick.
>>
>>214966747
Hell, I'll even help you out: I gave up on this shit after 30 minutes (sticking with it even for that long was generous), so if some genuinely funny shit happened in any of the last two-thirds of the film, this is your chance to highlight it and own me.

>Why is this movie so good?
It really isnt. Its like 7/10 fun, but not fun enough to be rewatchable.
Just admit you have a crush on tiefling Sophia Lillis, so you can be in the same page with the rest of /tv/ anons
