It can't just be that. Surely they can have some software that makes the digital drawing "look" like hand drawing. All modern animation just looks so fucking soulless.

Traditional cel animation allows you to do things I've legit haven't seen since that era. The way cartoons used to use blues and purples to represent night time and the contrasts of light even in near pitch black, but more than that in the lines of those colors were still dark drawn in pencil lines that added even more depth to every frame. You can't make a computer replicate that.

the writing is still pretty strong and the animation itself is vastly superior to the new KotH. I'll take the small victories. And fuck it the tiktok instagram shit isn't half bad, I don't look at that stuff myself but B&B joking about it is still entertaining
