Retarded idea two, we spent all the series watching him grow up to become the next leader of the group and then he died? Lazy writing imo

After that, they top speed at 2mph, stand around waiting to get hit, and the only way to keep them a "threat" is to make them magically reproduce in orders of magnitudes as the years pass. Also, they made climbing zombies a thing again in the last season for some reason.
