You have to take into account everything that Frieza saw Goku and co do. Without it there is no Golden Frieza since Frieza had no reason not to coast or sulk. Also; Blue Vegeta solos Gold Frieza near instantly, it's Black Frieza that's on par with Blue.

SECOND of all, the reason they did this is so that Goku could fight frieza again, they didn’t care if it was ridiculous, they wanted an established character returning so they could extend the series and sell tickets. And it worked.

DB powerlevels make sense by simply assuming Frieza lied when he said he became stronger as a cyborg, most likely he meant stronger because his dad was with him. You also have to keep in mind Frieza actually became weaker when he went for full power at Namek because he couldn't control it, making him basically Ginyu tier.
Frieza 50%: 1m
Goku SSJ1: 1.2m
Vegeta SSJ1: 800k maybe
Cell 1: around 1.1m
Cell 2: around 1.5m
Cell Perfect: 2m
Gohan SSJ2: 2.5m
Buu: 3m
Goku SSJ3: 3m

Now Beerus describe SSJ3 as a huge waste of energy and a dead end for Goku, if we can assume God as a next step then that would be around the 4m just like what Golden Freeza would have of powerlevel.

I really enjoy watching people argue about canon.
I'm a fan from WAY back, and never really found it too complicated. It's like older fans of anime were just built different. It was harder to get into anime outside of Toonami, so had to put more effort into it. Couldn't just find a youtube iceberg tier list for lore. It wasn't difficult, but it did gatekeep a lot of dumb people, even if anime itself is pretty stupid.

There really was no debate about 'canon' back then. It was understood the anime and manga were different, and that while Goku driving cars was fun, it wasn't something that the manga (or later anime) would ever mention again. No attempt to reconcile it or create a singular canon. It was just filler, and nothing more. I have no idea how modern Naruto fans are going to try to reconcile those 4 years of fillers at the end of the original series lol
